The wine

AIX Rosé 2016 bottle
AIX Rosé 2016 label
With the summer around the corner we cannot escape the arrival of the seasonal Provence (south of France) Rosé.

It always very refreshing and easy drinking. You can easily share it with friends and family.

The wine tasted tonight is from AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence.

Ideal serving temperature is 8 to 12 degrees.

Can be paired with seafood, vegetables, cheese (not strong cheese) and desserts. But you can also enjoy it alone or with apetizers. I personaly prefer to enjoy a glass by itself.

The classical Provence blend is Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. But this 2016 vintage contains Carignan as well.
